**We no longer suggest using Kingsbrook Animal Hospital because we found out that they prefer to almost always (all the vets treat exotic there) sedate hedgehogs for just a wellness exam rather than have patience and give the hedgehog time to open up. Sedation can be dangerous, and should only be done if absolutely necessary for medical issues. The vets also push using low quality hedgehog food over high quality cat food, and claim that all cat food is unsafe.
